I have a friend who has some meal vouchers that were part of her package to Disney World. She is thinking of selling them to me and I am wondering what the value of them is?

They are for the sit down lunch meals, with an appetizer, main course, dessert and beverage. Tax and tips are included.

From what I can see, I cannot buy these outright any where. The counter meal vouchers seem to be out there for between $11.50 to $17 depending on what things you want to join but I have not seen these sit down meal vouchers anywhere.

What would be a fair offer to give her for them?

These sound like the Vacation Lunch vouchers. I think that they run around $30.00. I know that people like using them at the Rain Forest Cafe, but they don't seem like much of a deal anyplace else unless you are ordering the most expensive things on the menu. There is a thread about these...I think it's one of the first ones listed on this board.

I was trying to find the thread you refer to but the DisAuctions thing will not work for me.

It is the thread called "Everything you ever wanted to know about connections vouchers"
They retail for $30.
Is your friend looking to sell them? PM me (button below).

from the hotwiresavingsclub.com website:

Vacation Kingdom Lunch Certificates are valid for one lunch at any participating table-service restaurant located within the Walt Disney World® Resort:

o The Hollywood Brown Derby
o Alfredo di Roma Ristorante
o The Official All Star Café
...and many more!

Lunch includes one appetizer, one entrée, one dessert and a non-alcoholic beverage.

They are $31.00 each for adults and $12.75 for ages 3-9.

Depends on how much you want to spend on lunch. The counterservice vouchers seem like a much better deal at $11.50 each.

Thanks I finally saw the thread!

My friend thinks the vouchers are worth more than I am willing to pay($100). Actually I think she just doesn't really want to sell them!

So we are going to buy them ourselves! Thanks for your help! :Pinkbounc

don't know how many she has to be charging $100 but we saved about $10 per voucher at Le cellier and Brown derby which I would guess is about average( unless you order a burger or something which imo why go to sit down and order...save your self money and go counter ) , about $40 at RFC so at the $30 they are a great deal imo. we left about $5 tip more since the included tip is only 15%. Average appe. where we went was 6-10, entree10-20, dessert 5+ so add tax an tip and unless you get the cheapest meal possible it seems like you would get your money's worth easily.
