Value of GAD voucher/upgrade ??

What is the value of a GAD voucher? Is it the same for children and adults? Can I upgrade it for any of the annual passes? Where would I do this? Thnx!

The value is the value of a one-day, one-park pass. I believe that's $72 if the person with the voucher is 10+, and whatever the kid's price is if the person who volunteered is 3-9. They're non-transferrable.

To upgrade to an AP, you can get your one-day pass at the ticket booth and then go into the park. In Disneyland, there's an AP center at the end of Main Street (left side as you're facing the castle). In DCA I've seen photos of a new AP processing center in the Greetings from California store.

(I don't know if it's possible to upgrade to an AP at the ticket booth but even if it were, you'd still need to go to a processing center to get photographed.)

You dont do it at the ticket booth, but you can take it to the customer service windows and they'll set it all up for you there, then you'll take what they give you to the ticket booth and they'll give you paper tickets and you go to the enterance gate. Then you have to go to the AP processing and they'll take your picture.

Of course you could just go to the ticket booth, get your tickets and then go to AP processing to upgrade, but our upgrade was a bit complicated so thats why we did it at costomer service. It actually took like 45 minutes to do all 4 of ours at customer service.
