Value Luggage Services, q's

I'm a bit confused on the Value's Luggage Services. Will they deliver bags to your room and pick them up like at a Deluxe? How about groceries? Or are they strictly just a place to drop your own stuff and pick it up?

In my experience — yes, the Luggage Services at value resorts will deliver to your room but it may not be immediate. We’ve waited over an hour in the past and ended up going down to retrieve items ourselves.

My last trip I had dropped my bags when I got in since I take a red eye and when I came back later I was unlocking the door when it opened, the luggage guy was just dropping off.

I will say the only times I've ever taken any bag to my room, even with MDE, was when my room was ready when I got to Pop. But even then my suitcase would be there when I came back for a break. It probably helps that I get there so early so time is never an issue.

No idea if they pick up but there are luggage carts you can borrow from them. I always just drop them on the way to fill up my mug on my last morning.

As a side if it matters, I know Pop has a luggage scale because the nice guy working took me back to use it last spring or in 2021 when I knew I was close and my scale battery died.

They will, but in my experience they are not staffed like the deluxe hotels and it will take forever. One time, I gave up and went to get the stuff myself after 45 minutes. And another time, they basically told me they were understaffed that day and it could be hours. They will let you check out a luggage cart.

Oof!! Doing an overnight so gonna handle my own bags then and wait on the water bottle/snack order until I move the next day. I don’t mind paying the $6+tip to have groceries brought to my room but to have to wait hours on top of that, no thanks.

Thanks for the responses! Realized after I asked it’s a slower thread around here so I went of and gave the topic it’s own. Sounds like there is a reason there isn’t much chatter about Value’s luggage services
