I remember this thread from not long ago and don't rememeber if this was brought up but, a funny thing happened when I picked up and reread the current VM that came out over a while back. On page 2 (first page to actually have info on it) it says that "members whose member cards have an expiration date will receive new ID stickers." This came out over a month ago or so and yet everyone was "surprised:eek: " to see them show up. I realize that some people got them that didn't have an expiration date on their card but I think Disney would rather send them to someone that didn't need them, and "waste our money" than to have a member not receive a benifit because they didn't get a sticker by oversite.

It may be advisable to place the VALID sticker on your card even if there is no expiration date.

It could save you a hassle... CMs may be instructed to check for the sticker before they allow benefits (discounts, etc).

I just think it's funny some of the posts in here when most of the info requested is either in one of the books we already have or is a MS specific question that requires a call to them anyway, MAKE THE CALL. They'll answer it with the correct answer in a few minutes, not waiting all day for someone else to post a response.

I just keep wondering if some day we'll get stickers that say 'invalid'

You know, since once I put this on, I'll always be valid!:bounce: :bounce:

I found the entire "VALID" sticker explanation to be RIDICULOUS. It wouldn't kill them to simply reissue new cards every 2-3 years like the credit card companies.

That's OUR money you're talking about wasting, not "theirs."
