The service you describe, I have not heard of at Pearson Intl. For 'Valet' there are two choices. One, Valet service at the airport (Term 1) is a dropoff at the arrivals level; leave your car, get a ticket and your done. However, when returning, you have to walk to the Valet parking area (just over the parking bridge) and pick up your car there. It is the closest airport parking you can get, but they don't come and pick you up. THe process itself doesn't take very long, but it is similar to going to your parked car that you left in Airport parking, but for a $25 valet charge (on top of the astronomical parking rates that are normally charged at Pearson. For example; 3 day trip to Montreal, I valet parked it at Pearson, total charge $109; our weekly disney trips have run me close to $200 in parking.
The second option is Park and Fly Valet service. There, you drop off your car at the Park and Fly location just outside the airport; there they shuttle you to the terminal. When you get back, you call them on an automated line so they get your car ready, but you have to catch the shuttle back to the Park and Fly location. This option is cheaper as there are usually coupons available on their website; you can earn aeroplan miles if that's important for you; I usually drop everyone off in the terminal first before going to the Park and Fly location and I get the car to pick everyone else afterwards (i.e. I'm the Valet!)
