Valet resort parking, then go to park?

I understand you can't park at a resort and then head off to a park and spend all day. But this is, in fact, what we want to do. We have breakfast PS at Cape May Cafe for Dec. 27 and want to simply walk to the WS entrance at Epcot to spend the day, because there seems to be no transportation from BC to the front entrance at Epcot. Don't feel like moving the car from the BC lot to the Epcot lot, plus that would take too much time on a day that will likely be super crowded. So, can I valet park at the BC for our breakfast PS and then stay at Epcot all day?

Thanks, Art

Most often if you valet park for breakfast at BC it is not a problem -- parking in free lot to go to EPCOT is what they usually don't want you to do. However, I cannot be sure you will have that luxury at the time of year you are going (most busy) as they might impose restrictions even on valet parking then.

World Showcase doesn't open until 11:00am on the 27th so you will have to walk back from World Showcase to Future World to do any open attractions if you are finished your meal before then. At that rate you might want to consider driving over to the main Epcot parking lot and entering through the front gates since nothing will be open in World Showcase in the morning.

We entered International Gateway in the morning (along with all the others staying at Epcot resorts) and took a pleasant stroll to the FW attractions that border the left side of World Showcase--Journey into the Imagination, Honey I Shrunk the Audience, and The Land. Plus there is a beautiful rose garden that you walk through. I imagine by the time you walk to your car, drive, park, and walk to the main entrance, you will spend much more time walking.

I have heard if you valet park for a PS, you can stay all day at BC. You could call the resort and ask, just to be on the safe side.

If you read the book, you'll understand.
There are rules, and there are rules that everyone operates by.

Enjoy your breakfast and day at Epcot.

For what it's worth, such an experience at Beach Club is what convinced us to stay there on a following visit.

Just back from 9 days in WDW. We had PS at the Polynesian for dinner at 'Ohana and breakfast at Kona Cafe. Both times we were asked for PS number, our resort parking permit and photo ID. The guard gave us a temporary parking permit with an expiration time noted--they gave us 3.5 hours for dinner, 2 for breakfast.

Seems like they are cracking down a bit on those who park at resorts for park access, and I can understand. We stayed at the Poly last year and I would have been pretty annoyed if I was unable to find a parking space.
