Sorry if this has been answered previously; a search did not bring up any results.

Does anyone know what the hourly charge is for valet parking at Universal/IOA? We purchased annual passes this year (the Bealls second year free offer), and were told that we get regular parking free, preferred parking for a fee of $4, and if we want to valet park we pay the first two hours and get the rest of the day free.

I stupidly forgot to ask how much the first two hours of valet parking cost! Anyone?

We hadn't been to Universal/IOA since they introduced the 'preferred' parking and were surprised just how far away the non-preferred parking is. I guess in the past we always got something closer for the regular parking fee. Not that we can't walk, but it did take extra time to get into and out of the park.

Last month it was 8 dollars. It puts you right at the last set of moving sidewalks before you get into CW, definately worth it in my eyes.

$8 per hour?! That's quite a bit if that's correct.

We were told that with our APs, we would just have to pay the first two hours of valet.

Thanks,
Susan

When we were there last November, we used valet parking twice, but I didn't think it was a per hour fee. I thought it was a flat rate. It's been awhile, so I could be wrong. We loved it though and are planning to use it again when we're there in December.

When you have an AP its 8 dollars. Flat. The normal rate is 16 dollars for the whole day. We have never paid more than 8 dollars....and we always valet. It makes the day so much easier knowing you dont have to walk to hell and back.

We used the valet service on Friday night the 6th and it was great.
We got our car in three minutes, tops.
My husband paid, so I don't know how much.

I was thinking it was $16 but didn't remember for sure. I think DH just gave them $20 including tip. We thought it was well worth it too.
