I know that I have read that the preferred parking is not worth the extra money. I haven't read much about anyone using the valet parking. I don't mind paying more if it is going to be a shorter walk and less hassle. I know we will be doing plenty of walking and will be tired at the end of the day. Does anyone have experience with using the valet parking? Last time we just used the regular parking, but I have a toddler with me this time who does not like to ride in a stroller, so we walk much slower or end up picking her up and walking (which really does not make for a happy back at the end of the day!). Thanks for any advice!

When the kids were little, we paid for the preferred parking. I always got very close to the front. It was much easier to me. It was worth it to me. We used valet once and liked that experience also.

IIRC, I get a discount on parking with my AP (used car service in Dec). Do AP holders get any kind of discount on valet pkg?

AP holders get basically half off. They pay for one hour...9 bucks which is still less than regular parking.

I agree that the preferred parking isn't worthwhile, but we very much like valet parking. I doubt that we ever use anything else. You park right at the entrance to City Walk. It's very nice to have at the end of the day! :thumbsup2

We love valet parking, but we have it included free with our Premier AP. When we had regular APs, or no APs, we just used the regular parking which isn't all that bad since there are moving walkways. But we're spoiled now with valet.

I have a premier and we always use valet...we tip one buck in and one buck out.

Last time we were at the RPR I used valet parking because someone told me the parking lot was no where near the hotel. This time we will be staying at HRH and I figured I would use the valet again.Does this make sense or is the parking lot close enough to self park at the HRH for a week ?
