I think I've seen several threads on this subject but I need just a little clarification for an upcoming trip. Valet parking for DVC members at a DVC resort is free, correct? What about a points stay at a non-DVC resort? During our upcoming trip we will be staying at the Poly and AKL, is Valet parking free there if we stay on points? Now what about if we drive over to the Boardwalk to walk around, can we use our DVC membership card to utilize free Valet parking or do we need to be guests at the Boardwalk? Thanks for the help.
You would not get free valet parking at a non-DVC resort. The way I understand it though, you could still get the free valet parking at BWV or WLV even if you were not staying there on points, you would just show your membership card. I was looking for the announcement on the member site, but they took it off.
Along with your DVC Membership card at DVC properties to get the free parking. I tried just the DVC Membership card at BW and they asked to see my resort I.D. which I didn't have and was denied the free parking. Had to pay the $6.00.
It says regardless of where you are staying and doesn't mention the requirement to be staying on points, it says show your resort ID OR your DVC membership card.
