Valentines Weekend !!

I've just realised that Valentines Day falls on a Saturday next year and thought it would be a great idea to surprise my gf with a valentines weekend away

Im going in September and will be getting AP's from which I know I can use discount.

But does anyone know how much a weekend would cost in any of the Disney Hotels with the said discount, even roughly as i have no idea how much money .

Im thinking it may be fairly busy so may wait until the mon after to go but the whole magic would be worth it, if they did anything special for Valentines?

Any help anyone can give would be gratefully received

Ahh how sweet!

Give them a call and ask for a room only booking for somewhere like Santa Fe hotel. Then take off 10% of that price (if you are buying a dream pass) and that would give you how much it will cost you.

I'd imagine that it will be very busy and very expensive as I believe the Monday is the school holidays for England. You'd be better off going the week before rather than the week afterwards in terms of price (I'd imagine)

Good point, I didn't think of the bank holiday. Maybe some further thought is needed then!

You could try doing a trip from the Wednesday or Thursday (11th or 12th February) before hand and staying until the Sunday. That should still qualify you for the weekday rate but you could still be in DLRP for Valentines Day. Alternativly you could look at a local(ish) more budget hotel who do not put thier prices up for bank holidays etc (see the Really Usefull sticky at the top of the forum for more info)

We have been a few times on Valentines Day ( as it is usually within half term) but they don't seem to do anything special for it. Maybe they think that true romantics will go to Paris for the day.

We where there for Valentine's Day this year, and I was very disappointed by the lack of anything special. The only thing we noticed was 'Elvis' was in the Village conducting 'marriage' ceremonies on the stage. DH was a spoilsport and wouldn't take part!

Reallt thought they'd have made more of an effort!

how about doing a trip to Paris instead... Eiffle Tower, River Cruise and a nice romantic resturant.
Then perhaps you could go to DLP the next day as a day trip
