I have to say, our Postie is terrible for just leaving stuff in various locations (The bin, by the back door, in plant pots, under the rabbit hutch....) and not leaving a note.... It might be worth going and having a look around the back garden, etc.....

Ok guys i got my receipt and i went on the track and trace thing and it comes up with this ...

Item BR083490049GB has been accepted at 19 Brindley Aven HP13 5SX on 10/02/09


What does this mean? the 10/02 is the day i posted it and its the post office address x

I wonder if it's been returned to your Post Office Natasha. I think you need to call in or phone them - this is very unusual, I've not heard of this happening before

Very strange and very annoyin i will ring up i think to see whats going on i checked the house number and postcode on receipt and its all correct. will keep ya updated x

ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hate the POST OFFICE!!! automated phones i hate them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Finally!! i got through to someone that speaks
He said that they only have the item listed as leaving the post office on the 10/02 and that it has not yet been delivered, and he said they allow for 15 working days for it to be delivered and they dont know what the delay is, then he said if its not been recieved within 15 days then i can put a claim in, i cannot believe this seriously First Class recorded delivery i have never had any problems ever!!
So i hope and pray that it does get to the person because i really dont want to go through a long stupid process.

Have any of you had any problems like this before?

Oh Tash! That's so DULL for all concerned!!! I've never had any problems tho' recently a parcel did take ages to get my niece... Fingers crossed it turns up asap...
