I've been with the most amazing guy for 2 years and one month, and I cannot WAIT for Valentine's Day! He is at college and won't be home on Wednesday, but we're celebrating on Saturday.

One problem:

I have NO idea what to do for him or get him for Valentine's Day! Any suggestions?

I'm not really the most reliable gift-giving "expert." But, I'll give this a try.

Get him something he likes that's not way off your budget. Or get him something meaningful.

Get him a meaningful card and an electric skillet. And a spatula.

I made him a cute little poem involving glued on candy hearts, that I gave him already. It's very kindergarten, but he loved it.

I was thinking about sending him roses, to be cute-ish, but I wasn't sure how a male would respond.:confused3

What about a DVD or CD or something like that?

I would get him cologne, but he wears this stuff that I love that smells like (I know, nerdy) the shop in Norway at Epcot.

The DVD is a good idea. He has a whole list of one's he wants.

If you get him the DVD, what if you also made him a CD of random songs. I think it would be meaningful to him.

They have these really neat cards that sing when you open them. I thought they were so cool. One has a kitty on the front and it says "I love you, you..." when you open it up, it starts singing "wild thing."

I loved it.

Make him a CD mix of his favorite songs and make a cute case for it!

Im not really into valentines ( i think its very comercial )so i dont really know...

It doesn't have to be anything Valentine related. Do whatever you want.:goodvibes

IF I had a boy for two years I would....Buy him his fav candy, make him a CD of all of youspecial songs or inside joke songs etc, prolly not flowers, guys don;t appreciate flowers as much as girls do. And either some mroe of his fav colgne that you love as weel, or a few movies that he really would like.

my bf's birthday is today and since we go to 2 different boarding school's we celebrated his birthday and valentine's day yesturday. I got him a volleyball with our names on it(it was an inside joke, and he loved it.but that was for his birthday) and I baked him a valentines day cake and i made him a really cute card. So um..something that has meaning like and inside joke between the two of you or bake him cookies or something like that.

If my girlfriend bought me an electric skillet I would lover her for LIFE.

Buy him an iPod Shuffle. They're like 74.99, and come in all sorts of colors. Seeing as how you've been together for 2 years you're either at the point where a gift doesn't need to be expensive, but it does need to be thoughtful. OR you could be at the point where price doesn't matter what the price is as long as they like it. Or both.

Buy him something related to his interests. You won't regret it.

well, i would buy an elmo gift bag [A little one (if not elmo, then some other little kiddie kind of bag)]. then, fill it with his favorite candy. i would buy it after valentines day, cuzz then it will be cheap!

make a scrapbook of pictures u took when ur together.
or make a dvd (power point thingy) about u and him
