Hello everyone! I'm in a rut as to what do for a Valentine's day gift. I am making a treasure chest box type thing to hold our special memories but I am torn between how to decorate the outside. It is for my g/f so keep that in mind. I was originally going to paint the entire wooden chest white, then sponge stamp hearts and glitter and things like that, with "I love you" on the front of the chest, with love quotes inside. But I also like the idea of painting the box black and pasting different pictures of us on the box, not sure how I would do that though. So what do you guys think sounds better???

The pictures of you two sounds more personal and thoughtful to me. While the glitter sounds pretty, I think you are looking for more romantic. A few well placed silver hearts could provide a little more jazz if you would like that.

You could photo copy the pictures to thinner paper for ease of work. Than use modge podge to adhere and protect them.

Good luck with it. Post the results so we can see. Please.
