Valentine's Day at WDW

We are going to be in WDW on Valentine's day Is their anything special happening that day? Any suggestions for what we could do together as a family? We left that spot open on our itinerary...by accident of course and didn't even realize until yesterday that was Valentine's day! I was going to do a Segway tour for my DH but discovered that has been suspended due to a software glitch. I need some new ideas. Was thinking of doing dinner at Coral Reef or Fulton's Crab house...which is better food wise?

We go every year around Valentines day. My sister is a professor at the Univeristy of Manitoba and thier reading week is always during that time. In the parks they will have some merchandise and they had Mickey Head baloons that had a balloon inside them in the past that had a heart shape to it. Pleasure Island will have Cupid for a few nights walking around with a bow and arrow and the love profits telling you what your love's future might be.

Make sure to make a ADR if your planning on doing a special dinner. We had to put a CC # down for that night because it was considered a holiday.

Other than that that's about all we ever saw when we were there.

We will be there again this year, so we might just see you there.

Thanks. I just emailed my TA this morn to make ressies. Hope it is not to late. I made ressies somewhere else already so if we cant get seafood ressies we are already reserved somewhere else. Is the weather nice at that time?

Its a crap shoot with weather. In 2005 it was warm like 24ish.. 2006 we had frost warnings and rain. So really you have to watch the weather before you go to pack accordingly and then still bring a few extra's or in my case buy a few things ( any excuse to shop) if it changes.

I think the Segway glitch is supposed to be cleared up within a few days. I am fairly sure that it won't affect the tour in February.
