hello everyone could anyone please tell me if you stay in the val d'europe area is there a buss service? if so does it leave from where the hotel busses leave ie next to the eurostar and also how often in July

If you are staying in the val d,europe area you are best to use the rer trains as its only 1 stop from disney:wizard: and the trains run really often and also run late ,you can also get really cheap hotels in bussy st george which is two stops from disney the trainfares are only a few euros return :thumbsup2

We stayed at the residhome val d'europe last August and getting on the RER was really easy. You could change the language on the ticket machines to English so there was no problem understanding what you were buying. The trains were fast and frequent and we would have no problem using it again. :goodvibes

might have to say hello then :lovestruc:banana::love::wizard:
have you looked at the kyriad on sites like travel republic/expedia we have 5 nights booked for £480 inc breakfast and there is a free shuttle bus to the parks if you need any info on the hotel just ask as we have used the hotel many times :wizard:

Yes definately would like to say hello :cloud9:

kyriad looks lovely but theres 8 of us so we found a cheaper alternative its on travelrepublic its called sejours et affaires serris appartments :)

Don't know what ages you all are but if you are coming for the week you'd be best getting a Navigo Decouverte travel pass. Otherwise it's going to add up even if you buy carnets of tickets

They go from start of service Monday through to end of service Sunday and cost 17.20€ for zone 4-5 (which is all you need if you are just going from Val dEurope to DLP)

If you want to go to Paris as well you can either just pay the 14,20€ for a Mobilis day pass or buy from the start a Navigo zones 1-5 which covers everything and costs 33.90€ for the week

You have buses that go from just next to the RER at Val d'Europe to the bus stops at DLP as well as the trains.

but they are either few and far between or go round the houses :goodvibes

wow thank you for that, can i ask is the prices for the train? and is it the same for children too? :lovestruc

How old are the children ? as under the age of 4 they don't pay on public transport and from 4-9 they pay half price. 10 and up are considered as adult fare

If you are using the buses you can get a carnet of 10 ticket t for 12,70€ full price and half price carnet for children

If you are using the RER you can get a carnet of 10 tickets Origin Destination and from Val d'Europe to MLV-Chessy or MLV-Chessy to Val d'Europe it's around 13,70€ (haven't looked since the last price increase) and again it's half price for children 4-9

Ok so that's like 10 trips - if you are really going to do only that and stay in the park all day everyday the cheapest would be the carnet origin destination for the train each at 13.70€ and half price for the 6 year old.

Taking the ticket price at 1.40€ (to be on the safe side) you would have to be doing at least 15 single trips for the Navigo card to be worth it. I don't know if you saw on that link ^^ but there is a 5€ one off fee to set each card up so that's 22,70€ pp

That's why if you are really just doing the 10 trips a carnet each and then an extra one between 2 people if you decide you wanted to split the day up ever would be better value for you.

All of these tickets can be bought at the train station (Marne La Vallée-Chessy) and if you decide to go for a card don't forget to bring a passport sized photo from home to stick on it as it will save you 5€ extra cost getting them done :goodvibes
