Hi everyone, does anyone knows if the Disneyland Hotel provides or can arrange a shuttle bus service to Val d'Europe or La Vallee? I know we can get there by train but thought a shuttle bus will be easier as there are 9 of us travelling together.

We're going in September. I believe a shuttle bus is run by the hotel/disney.

No idea what it's like though. ie how often they run and how full they can be.

Supposedly the train is sometimes the best option. Someones whose been before will be of better use to you. :)

I'm pretty sure Disney run a shuttle which I guess would leave from the station like the other buses. The hotel would be able to give you times etc.

We've visted Val D'Europe a few times but always taken the train. It's very cheap, only one stop away and the trains seem to run very regularly.

Yes Disney can arrange a transfer to La Vallee (the outlet bit)

We've used it twice now, once from the Disneyland Hotel in Mar 2006 and then again from the HNY in March this year.

Just go to the concierge desk in the hotel reception and let them know you'd like to go to La Vallee. They'll get on the phone to the people who do the transfers and tell you how long it should be until the driver can get there. The shuttle will pick you up from the hotel's reception.

You pay the driver directly, I think it was 5 Euro per adult return, and then he'll give you a ticket for your return.

When you want to go back to the hotel there is a small porta cabin where the driver drops you off, the staff in there will call the driver for your return.

Just one point, the first time we went it was a minibus, this year it was a Taxi as he was filling in for an ill driver. Make sure the Concierge knows how many of you there is...Fitting all 9 of you into a Taxi could be fun :)

Have fun at DLP

Just noted you're staying Castle Club :cool1: :cool1:

Thats where we stayed when we used the shuttle service to La Vallee in Mar 2006. No need to go all the way down to the Concierge in reception. Just let the Castle Club Reception staff know and they'll sort it all out for you.

Then you can relax in the CC lounge and wait for the shuttle :drinking1

Enjoy :)

That's good to know. Don't know if we will have time to fit it in with it being our first trip and 3 nights / 4 days to fit in so much. Still definately useful to know.:cheer2:

There is a bus number 50 or 52 that runs to the Hotel across the street from Val de Europe, it is free of charge for their hotel guests but may have had a small charge for others. The problem with this was it always took forever to come and was always crowded when it finally showed up. The train is the better choice in this situation, it is cheap, not crowded and only takes about 2 minutes to get to Val de Europe (one stop). Plus you feel more like a local and less like a tourist taking the train. :-)
