If I am reading this article right, the boy contracted "Vaccinia virus. The smallpox vaccine contains a live virus, vaccinia, which is very similar to smallpox."

I wonder how much of a difference there is.

Anybody who hasn't should take a look at the pictures of smallpox. You'll understand the phrase "A pox on you" then. They are really sobering.

With a 4 day window to get the vaccination after the exposure to smallpox, I'm behind the healthcare professionals who have deep reservations -against THIS vaccine.-

As I said, I'd prefer cowpox, thanks!
