Vacations spots comparable to Atlantis Bahamas

Hi all! I am trying to plan a vacation for my mom to use as this year's vacation spot. We are used to going to Disney or Atlantis but would like to try somewhere new. She likes the islands and casinos, and is use to high standards like Disney lives up to. Would anyone have any recommendations? It would be a family vacation-Thanks

Aruba? I know Marriott has several beautiful timeshares there and there are casinos if that is important.

Or a cruise? Royal Caribbean has amazing ships with something for everyone. You can see a virtual tour of them on their website.
