Vacations! If money wasn't an issue!

Ok, As I look out my 19th floor window and see a dark, gloomy and foggy (as it looks up north) day, my mind wonders off to the wonderful time I had in Cancun on my honeymoon (beach, swim up bar, and all all you can eat and drink). So I got to thinking, "If I could take a vacation right now where would I go?" After pondering this question for the better part of the last hour I thought, "I don't know, but I'm having fun thinking about it." So my question to all my fellow dis'ers is this; if you could take a vacation, and money wasn't an issue, where would you go? Other than Disney - that would be a given. I know half of my trip would include the Grand Floridian's Presidential Suite (is that what they call it? Never stayed there, but I would love to), for no less than 2 weeks. The first half of my trip would include some kind of beach resort...but not sure which. So let's get to dreamin'.

I want to go to Italy - and since I am already over on that side of the pond, I might as well stay in that castle in Scotland like I've always wanted to.... maybe a side-trip to Holland to see the tulips - Oh, and I can't forget to visit Disneyland Paris, now can I?!!!

I think three months ought to cover the whole thing. ;)

I would go to China for a month and take in everything that I could. Sigh . . . this is going to be a long work day!

I'm thinking of heading over to the other side of the pond myself. Scotland, France to visit the Palace of Versaille (sp?).

Well, if money was no option and I was also suddenly cured of my fear of flying........

London and Paris, then I would like to go back to the French countryside, Spain and Holland as an adult (was 16-17 before). Finishing that up with a week in Vegas/Arizona.

Money is no object, and while we are at it let's assume safety is no object as well. In that case I will post my pic on the top of Everest as soon as I get back!

After that long cold trek I will probably have to rest and warm up on the Medeterranian some place, how about a Greek island.

My top two dream destinations are Japan and South Africa.

Lived in Japan for a couple of years while in the military...absolutly a beautiful country. Especially in the spring time during the Cherry Blossom Bloom.

I've always wanted to go to Australia :sunny: But it would be even better if I could take a Cruise to Australia :cool1:

We would spend a month in Fiji together, and I would spend a month alone in Africa.

I've always wanted to go to Bermuda, and stay in one of those pastel cottages on the beach.

Then on to Mexico, to explore the Mayan ruins.

I'd then hit Scotland and England.

I'd have to stop in Russia - Moscow, St. Petersburg -I've always wanted to see those places.

Then on to the Middle East, I'd visit the pyramids in Egypt, and Petra in Jordan, and explore Damascus.

I'd probably finish up this world treck back here in the states, somewhere in Appalachia, enjoying the mountains and peace.

I'd love to go to Italy, but I'd have to get over my fear of flying first. I wouldn't mind seeing Ireland either.
But my first priority will be doing Disney in style. A week at the Polynesian. A couple days concierge, savannah view at AKL, and a few more days at the Beach Club. I would love to spend two weeks in Disney. In addition to taking my time exploring Disney, I'd like to spend a day at Discovery Cove
Despite my slight fear of boats, I'd also like to go on an Alaskan Cruise. The Carribbean cruises however, can hold onto my empty cabin for someone else
