Vacation with a 2 month old

I will be off for maternity leave next summer. I figure it is a perfect time to get away on a vacation since I will not be working. We have 2 girls that will be 5 and 8 as well. We travel frequently, and don't mind traveling with young babies. My oldest went to Disney when she was 2 months old. We orginally thought about going to Disney World because it is so kid friendly, but the more I think about it, the more I am not sure. The trip will be in early Aug. and it is so hot in Florida. Since we would spend so much time outside, I'm not sure that would be a good idea.

Cruises are out due to the age restrictions.

My oldest daughter desperately wants to go to the UK. We could probably swing it financially (once!), but I am unsure if this would be a good destination with a baby. I don't think I would take a baby that is mobile on such a grand vacation, but the I would "wear" the baby the majority of the time since he/she would be so young.

We also thought about Disneyland.

Any suggestions? We need to start making arrangements and I am at a total loss.

I do agree about the heat in Orlando early August. We've been in late August, and it's hit or miss on the heat (and storms!).

You don't mention the part of the country that you live in.

What about some beach resort with activities for the kids? Or do you prefer a city? There are many options really!

I'd wait on going overseas - what if the baby needs any medical attention? I'd definitely do that later.
