Vacation spots!

So.. my mom and I are trying to book a vacation for this summer, but between a move and a divorce, we're trying to find something low budget but fun for a mother & daughter.

Any ideas??

Honestly, I'm not sure how much it would cost, but down in Alabama and Mississippi, there are plenty of hotels and beaches. I recommend Alabama, but both states have much to choose from. Alabama has a battleship you can tour and many hotels you can choose from. There are a lot of business/hotels competing for customers so I'm sure you should be able to find a decent hotel at a reasonable price! There are shops EVERYWHERE that are just fun to look through! I hope you and your mother have a fun vacation!
