Vacation payment with Disney Rewards Card

I went to make a payment with my Disney Rewards Card...this is the first time I've ever used my rewards card. I put in the full amount of the card as the payment (didn't go over), went through, got the typical (and poor, IMO) Disney website response- no confirmation, just taken to another screen. Anyway, I did what I usually do after making a payment to confirm it went through- I logged BACK in and went back through as if I were making another payment, to confirm that my balance was less the amount I just paid with my card. It wasn't. Twice in a row, and no change. Is there something different about paying online with the rewards card? I had activated it, and am sure of the balance.

Same thing happened to me a few days ago. I eventually got an email a day or two later with my new balance. Strange that their website doesn't give you an immediate confirmation, but I bet yours went through, too.

The balance of my trip updated like an hour later. I paid with a gift card, my rewards card, and a credit card and it was delayed every time. Their system sucks.

I tried the same thing last trip and I had trouble with the web site - I ended calling up and doing it over the phone. No problem that way.

How do I request my disney reward card? I would like to put it towards my trip, but I didn't know how. I thought I would have to get it at Disney and use if for spending money.

Call the CS number on the back of your card. It takes awhile to get it too so don't delay if you have a trip coming up. Once you have the card you can continue to have your points transferred to it until the expiration date.---Kathy
