Vacation package vs annual pass?

Hey guys,

We are finalizing booking our September trip. We have in the past bought 3 park explorer tickets for our two week stays. (We are a family of three, with one 8 year old daughter).

We are flying in from Scandinavia and have already bought flights and secured a rental car.

If we go with a 3 park explorer tickets plus a two week stay at Cabana Bay we will pay 2779 USD. If we book the room separately and get 3 annual passes (two seasonal and one preferred) it will be 2922 USD.

I am leaning towards booking everything separately. Is that something that you guys would do?

Lets say the Annual Passholder discount will come into play on our nights, will we be able to "re-book"?

Do you think we will "make our money back" with the discounts provided by the Preferred pass? (We stay mostly on-site on our vacations).

Best regards and thanks in advance

Yes, you most definitely can rebook if you purchase separately. However, the AP rate is probably not going to be any cheaper than a long stay more save more rate.

If you time it right, though, maybe you can squeeze next year's trip into this year's annual pass dates and get two trips for the price of one!

Yeah that was our idea. We usually do two trips per year. Last year we did LA and Orlando and this year Dubai and Orlando. So we might just go twice to Florida in 6 months :)
