Vacation Package Cancellation policy?

Dh, dd (who will be 1 at the time), and I are planning to stay at POP in May. We want to get the MYW Dining plan package (includes the resort stay, park tickets, and dining plan). My question is if something happens and we can't go for some reason do they refund any payments we have made or do we lose any of that money? I do not plan to have to cancel but you never know what will happen between now and May! Any info. would be appreciated!

You can cancel up to 45 days prior to arrival date and get a full refund.
You can cancel between 6 and 44 days prior and only be charged $100.
You can cancel 5 days or less prior and only be charged $200.
Air fare cancel policies depend on the type of air being purchased.
Buy insurance and read the policy to see exclusions.
Most important have fun and book all of your dining 90 days prior!

I was told by a reservations CM that you could call as late as the morning of check in and "postpone" your trip to another date without penalty. (This happened when our dog became very sick a few days before our trip). We ended up going so it wasn't an issue. I don't know if it's general knowledge but when I called to inquire about cancelling this was the option they gave me (perhaps they just didn't want me to cancel)?

Thanks for telling me that, Pea-N-Me! I had wondered about that too but forgot to ask. Hopefully nothing will delay our trip but there is always that possibility and I want to be prepared!
