Holy heck but that's nasty!

Reading the report it's tabled as a 'long stay' hotel (ie people actually lived there) so hopefully not uber touristy, but who knows, it's so darn big...

thats adjoining the ramada i just left saturday, yikes i hope there isnt too many casulties i see the black angus restraunt which is to the front of the motel is damaged too !

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night last year before checking into disney and it was an absolute disgrace! I've never stayed anywhere so dirty. We had a delay and didn't arrive until 2am and wanted to go straight to sleep, we had to leave our shoes on in the room as the carpet was so dirty! We ended up not really sleeping and left about 7am. Thank god it was only for one night, no way would I of stayed there any longer.

yes, this is an 'extended stay' motel - in other words, a place where very low income people live...
people down on their luck and with nothing...

it's so sad that people with nothing, now have even less....not even a roof - such as it is - over their heads...

i watched the news report.....saw a mom talking about how awful it was to have to live there, but now they don't even have that....

terrible....

and last night i heard that the suspicion is that it was an illegal meth lab in one of the rooms that blew up...

so the criminal low lifes continue to destroy the lives of the innocent unfortunates around them....

so very sad...
