That’s what I mean. Some ideas of places to go where going with a 2 yr old is possible & still fun for the adults. With a 2-year old, I would choose a place that you want to go and fit in a few kid-friendly activities. Most small kids are just happy to swim in a hotel pool or run around a fun new park.
Actually meant no gulf coast beach areas & not FL. Looking for things we haven’t done. That cuts out a lot of places. Maybe Sesame place or somewhere like Great Wolf Lodge
Any suggestions for fun vacation ideas with a 2 yr old. Not wdw, no beach & no camping.
What are your interests?Actually meant no gulf coast beach areas & not FL. Looking for things we haven’t done.
I guess that’s thing. I’m kinda wanting to figure that out. A lot of the things I can think of like Yellowstone or Yosemite that would interest me right now, I don’t want to do with him just yet. I think major cities would be more challenging too. And we don’t like camping. It would just be DH & I & DS so basically something that wouldn’t be too hard with him where DH & I can still enjoy it.What are your interests?
I can't think of many vacation spots I wouldn't go to with children besides casinos.
Yeah exactly so places like that ppl have experience with they excludes the 3 places I’ve said.I've found that the keys to traveling with young kids are to find a place with easy access to public restrooms, that's stroller-friendly, and has lots of places where the kids can safely run around.
Thanks for the sarcasm. But It’s not for him. We do all that stuff now. It’s more where can we go on vacation that won’t be too hard with a 2 yr old in tow.How about going to Disney on Ice when that returns or the zoo when they reopen? I really don't remember anything from when I was two years old.
Great idea! Thank you!I think DC would be great with a toddler, most things are free (so if he is fussy it’s easy to bail), lots of flat walking and open public spaces, public transportation so no need of a car seat, zoo - of course it might have to wait a bit.
Hershey Park or Dorney Park were favorites when I had little ones, nearly all outdoors too.
