vacation/honeymoon in december

My bf. and I are going to get married some time this fall. He is in the military and is in Kyrgystan right now until around the middle of sept. he is due to get out of the miltary shortly thereafter. he is stationed in Georgia and i am in illinois. the problem is we are trying to schedule our honeymoon/vacation around christmas time. we are almost 100% sure he will be out by then. My question is.. How busy is disney during the holiday season, like dec 20 till new years? And how far in advance should i try to make our reservations? It is hard since he is in military etc... but could we get a refund on our vacation package incase something goes wrong and we couldn't make our trip? We were there last summer and stayed at riverside.. had an awesome time. Any suggestions for romance on our honeymoon would also be appreciated!!!

To get more responses, it would be better if you posted this in the ride section..more people might see it there, and its more geared to that type of thing...as for the military aspect..just because september is what they say now, i would wait until he is BACK...i feel so bad saying that, but i gre up in the military with lots of overseas, and nothing is definite until it happens. Kudos to you for hanging in there for your sweetie. My friend was supposed to marry her husband last christmas, but he had to race off after 9/11 and he was supposed to be back in Nov, but he wasnt home unitl march..as far as how busy the disney parks are...they are the BUSIEST i have ever seen. I was there last christmas, and waits were ridiculous, you felt like you couldnt move in the park...but somehow, we rode almost everything we wanted to....at one time, at like 4 in the afternoon, there was NO wait to get onto splash mountain...so, not ALL bad news! Keep pressing, hang in there, and good luck! my fingers are crossed for you!
