Has anyone stayed in a 7 or 8 bedroom vacation home. My (entire) family is going again and
I know I need a home with at least 5 large beds. any suggestions

FYI, Bellevida is a long way to Disney in a high traffic area, compared to the homes in Emerald Island and Formosa gardens...
Most of us here believe renting from an owner is best way to go both for a best price and getting what you want...
Here is link to VRBO site with Emerald Island...They have one whole street of nothing but 7 bedroom homes with 5 1/2 to 6 baths...In my opinion, as I have owned in Emerald Island, the really big homes with 7 bedrooms will have 5 1/2 or 6 baths, not 4 baths. 4 bath homes are 6 bedroom homes that have stuck a added bedroom into a very small space...

This link will start with 3 bedroom, so scroll down to 7 bedrooms...also can keep going down to see homes in Formosa Gardens...FGardens will be more expensive as a rule, but there are some real mansions in there if you want to spend the $$$. You should be able to get a nice 7 bedroom in EIsland for somewhere between $225 and $300/night if not going at High Holiday season...Formosa Gardens will probably be in the $350 to $450 range...
don't be afraid to negotiate a bit with owners.
Good Luck...Ted

These are the only 8 bedroom homes I have ever heard of. In Osceola county you can have 7 and out in Polk county you can have 5 with an extra sitting area that I guess most turn into an extra bedroom. Not sure of the specifics.
You can always get side by side villas that is also an option.
That 8 bedroom grand home is just INCREDIBLE, WOW! I want to stay there it looks so nice! hehe...we rented a similar place in Cape Coral a few years back, a mansion, literally. We had an 11,000 sq foot mansion, 8 bed 8 bathrooms, right on the instracoastal waterway, our own boat docks...110 foot long swimming pool. 4 master suites...we went with 3 families and had plenty of space. It's actually pretty reasonable if you divide up the costs amongst 3-4 families, not bad at all.
Oh...and did you notice it comes with a housekeeper who picks up after you and cleans every day!? HUUUGE pool...etc....heck, with a house like this, you really don't need a resort clubhouse! After all, it even has a movie theater right in the house... I think I'd skip the parks and just hang at the house all week! LOL
I can see this house from mine, and yes its huge, the pool looks great but is not overly wide, but I suppose when its 55ft long who cares how wide it is as there will be plenty of room for everyone.

Question for you then...is it the only 8 bedroom home there in this style? I only saw one like it on the FG ad sites or on VRBO, wondering if there's more like it?
Amazingly, their calendar looks booked solid too! Wonder what it cost! hehe
I stayed in a similar home in Cape Coral about 5 years ago..on the water...just incredible, we didn't have a daily housekeeper though. My SIL found it... under $2k for the week too! The guy was just looking to rent it out after completing construction and make a little $$ until it sold on the market, so it was the best deal ever! (no it's not for rent at that price any more! LOL) It got us hooked 100% on VRBO style vacations though!

When reading the discription of the home is states it is 9200 sq. feet. The next home is 5300 sq feet.
I would love to be nosey and do a walk thru. It looks lovely. When we were down to purchase our home we went thru a couple in Formosa garfens. You are lucky to ownin there they were beautiful. I liked that the lots were larger in there. We ended up buying in EI in the enclave area were the lots a bit bigger but nothing compared to FG.
You have chosen a great area to purchase your home. Good luck with the home.
Hi...I may be wrong, but I do not think so...
I agree that the Osceola Parkway is nice way into Disney, but Bellavida is south of Medeival Times. IMHO it is at least a 3 mile drive to get to Osceola Parkway from this location and it involves some driving on 192...I am sure these are beautiful homes and a nice area, but it not just a quick jump onto Osceola Parkway like it would be from homes just off 192 on Poinciana Blvd.
