Vacation envy

Everytime I start getting the "Gotta Get to Disney Bug", I come here for comfort.

I'm with you, just over 5 months to go, and here I am checking out the dis to make me feel better.

I feel your pain. We don't get to go this year at all. I am really hoping we can still go next year. I also come here and read up on everyone else's vacations. My neighbors may be going this year. I will have to make them tell me all about it when they get back.

I love coming here while waiting for the next fix of Pixie dust. 17 weeks for us. I can't bear to think of it as "months." And I don't count the week we're in or the week before we leave either. I choose to think of it like this...this week is nearly over cause I'm living it, and the week we leave is so full of expectation and excitement that it feels like part of the vacation.

Waiting for a trip to Disney is the one time that I'm glad I work...it makes the time seem to go faster.

I have vacation envy too. Sad thing is we are actually going next week. Unfortunately, we wanted this to be a short trip so we actually passed on our hotel's offer of a 4th night free. With another day of food, park hoppers and higher flight cost to return home we actually decided to skip the extra day. So, I envy those that can stay longer than 3 nights. We also just didn't want to overwhelm our 5 year olds first visit. He tends to do things to the fullest and daytime naps have long been history. I know...at least we are going for a couple days so I should stop whining now. We will have the whole evening on the first day, 2 full days and until 6:00pm on our last day. I think we will survive.

That's exactly how I feel! I just got back from my vacation about a week and a half ago, and I felt I was going to go crazy until I found this site. I'm getting my fix, and it's definitely making the decision to go again next summer so much easier - YES! I have to finish my trip report now, and get the rest of my pictures done.

I always miss Disneyland and we just came back from a fun visit but I always want to plan my next visit.
