Vacation Club/Dining Plan

Sorry if this post is repetitive, but I was hoping for some up-to-the-minute advice. One of my co-workers is trying to sell me her "points". When I explained that we wouldn't be able to be on the dining plan if we booked through her Disney vacation club (which was my understanding), she said that club members can be on the Dining Plan now (implying a very recent change).

Is that true? If so, would it be transferrable to my family if we bought her points? Color me confused.... I am POSITIVE this particular person would not be deliberately leading me astray, but perhaps she doesn't fully know.

Its a recent change. I don't know if the dining plan would apply to guests or not. You probably should get her to call and ask DVC for confirmation.

The plan doesn't apply to stays prior to April.

You can now get the dining plan with DVC points reservations starting 4/1/06. Check this thread:

My apologies! I thought dining plan, this board. Vacation Club board would make more sense. *newbie mistake*
