Do flights booked via Virgin Holidays qualify for VA Flying Club miles/tier points ??

Yes they usually do, I have not had one flight denied yet. Best bet is to make sure when you can manage your flights online you add your FC membership number, so the points are added as soon as you have taken the flight

1 last question - should my wife join separately or can we claim on both flights booked with VH using the single club membership ?

No every person needs thedir own personal account. This is also so for children aged 12 and over.

Yep we have seperate accounts, DH also got a american express charge card when they had an offer on and he got 20000 miles, so jealous of him.

He keeps saying he is going PE whilst i have to choose economy for me and DD.

It's best if you recommend your wife after you've signed up - that way you get bonus miles when she takes her first flight.

Yep, they sure do - I got 16,000 points from the last two trips via Virgin Holidays and then got myself a Virgin credit card which gave me another 4000. On top of that for every pound spent on the card we get 2 points. OK, the APR is high but we pay it off every month so it's points for (almost) nothing.

Just been checking and using the Points + Miles system 5 of us could fly Manchester to Orlando for 3 weeks (flights only) in August for £2,300 - which I think is quite a good deal.

I have had a complete nightmare this week with my virgin flights, ended up cancelling them all and starting from scratch. However, in the meantime I had signed up for Virgin Frequent Flyer Club and when I gave them this number I got 10% discount rather than just the 5% online discount.
