VA flights question

I've booked VA flights through a TA - should I have picked certain seats or should I be doing that now? I hear people talking about pre-booking certain seats and wondered if I should be doing that or even if I can since I booked through a TA? We've always just arrived at the airport and been allocated seats so I've no idea what the heck I am doing (nothing unusal there! lol)

You can reserve seats up to 336 days in advance.

You can do this either on the net at http://www.virgin-atlantic.com/en/gb/index.jsp?flash=true.
Use the update booking link on the bottom right. You'll need a booking ref.

The 24 hour on-line check-in is must do in my opinion as well, see the first link, It makes the airport experience so much better.

If you have a booking number for your flight you can go to the VA website and click on update booking on the bottom right and when you are in you can pick your seats etc etc for the flights, but if there are no seats free dont worry as i think its about 40% they hold back till 24hrs before the flight.

your TA should be able to do this for you if you dont have a booking number
