Okay, our time is coming up to call for V&A's for February.

We will be there for 2 weeks, and the only night we CAN'T go to V&A's is the 8th, as we'll be Pirating and Princessing at MK. :teeth:

I am going to try for the Chef's Table and have already talked to the reservation person for V&A who told me I had to call day by day, that is not included in the 180+10.

So....this is my questions for you V&A Chef's Table experts...HELP... :)
I really really really would LOVE to get the CT for the 14th. Of course, I have resigned myself to the fact that this probably WILL NOT happen, but I am going to give it a whirl. But we are leaving the 16th in the morning. So, I don't want to wait until 180 days from the 14th, NOT get the CT, try again for the 15th and not get it. I would like to start calling for the 1st day we are there. Is that okay to do? To make a ressie for the CT for say....2/7....then to try to get it for the 14th and if I do, cancel the 7th...if you get my drift. If we don't get the CT at all, I would like to do the regular V&A ressie for the 14th, which I know I will probably have to make it 180 days out.

Anyway, thanks in advance!! :teeth:

Yes- By all means - call on your first available date - and then the next, and so-on....I've never gotten the chef's table on my first try - but have always managed to get it...Please DO call and cancel the previous ressie ASAP when you secure another though - as many people are trying for the same.....

Also - the CT is not avail for reserving on Weds. and Fri. (Reserved for the Chef only (read this as VIPs)) -- so unless this changes, Valentines Day is out anyway. Sorry. You can confirm this with them when you call...

BTW- prices for our CT table this coming Dec. is $150 PP, $215 with the wine pairing (they've gone up).

I would also suggest calling for the CT on your first available date. We tried to do the CT for our honeymoon (as suggested by another honeymooning couple that did it and LOVED it) but I started calling AS soon as I was allowed to and tried to get it for any of the 10 days we were there and was unable to. They were already totally booked. The CM did let me know that since we were there on our honeymoon the main dining area would actually be more romantic. We did the main dining area and it was one of the most amazingly romantic dinners my husband and I have ever had. I still would LOVE to do the CT at some point in my life.

So, even if you can't get the CT remember V&A is amazing no matter what.

Have a great trip!

We start calling as soon as possible. We've actually changed our vacation dates, to accommodate our Chef's Table reservations, but we are unusual in that regard. We go to the Chef's Table every year, so it doesn't feel like our annual anniversary trip if we don't have our dinner there.
Cheers!

Hmp2z- I don't think you're unusual in changing a vacation around your CT ressies - We've done it too!!! Foodies of the World Unite! Jill
