I understand that you can get the menu that is offered at the chefs table out in the main dining room, has anyone done this and if they have can you only get it at the 6 pm sitting since it may take a while to go through all the courses? and is it like the main menu where you have a choice or is it that you get everything that is offered by the chef for meals that evening? any help is appreciated as we are planning on booking this thursday

1) The Chef's Table is a unique and special event.
2) You cannot get that menu out in the dining room.
3) With that said, some of the items may be on the dining room menu.
4) But, all the special touches and items are not passed to the dining room.
5) This includes the trial food the chef is considering for future meals.

Thats odd because I asked that and was given a link to a review of someone who had ordered the chiefs menu in the main dining room.

The CT menu is available in the main dining room as long as it is pre-ordered. You will get the same food for the same price, but you will not have the Chef (or cooks) coming to explain each course.

It can only be for the early seating as they allow 4-4.5 hours for the full service.

You definitely CAN get the Chef's Table menu in the main dining room; we did it just this December. As someone said earlier, you just have to request it in advance and clear it with the chef. I would not recommend trying this with the late seating, as it is likely to take from 3-4 hours to get through all the food. You wouldn't want to be leaving there at midnight or 1:00 am, and I'm sure the staff would not appreciate that.

Thanks for the info people now i guess the only question is to get the wine pairings or not to get the wine pairings? but have a while to decide that I guess again thanks for the responses
