What is the easiest way to get there from the POR? Our reses are at 9:15 on 22nd of Apr and might not take a car with us?

Advice on how to get there and back for dinner?:thanks:

Because you'll be all dressed, I would take a cab. Cabs generally run $10-$15 at WDW (without tip).

We drove over to GF then valet parked since V&A validates the valet parking for you. If you don't have a car then I would suggest a cab.

Agree. Cab would be best. You don't want to take Disney transportation when you are all dressed up.

V&A-easiest way to arrive?

1) I find a horse-drawn carriage with footmen is the easiest method.
2) If it is my guys' day off, a stretch limo will do in a pinch.
3) But, only if the driver is properly attired in tux and hat.

We took a cab in April. A car and valet would be fine, but if you're doing a wine paring a cab is a better idea.

I have to agree. The first time we went there we took the bus, and it was POURING. Everyone was leaving the parks at the same time cause of the rain, and the buses were very slow. We were almost late. The BC has covered walkways to the bus stop, I don't know if POR does?? We still got wet enough from the wind blowing etc. We then had to transfer to the boat, where we had to stand because the seats were all wet... It was a little bit of a nightmare.

The next time we went we took a cab. It was annoying to have to pay for it, but it was worth it. Have fun it is an AMAZING experience.

Take a cab - it will be a quick ride and you'll be dropped off at the front entrance to the GF ... no fuss, no muss. :thumbsup2

I'm guessing similar advice would be good for AKL - V&A's....

how long should I allow for that journey?

Driving or taking a cab is the easiest route.

I'm cheap, so I have taken Disney transportation dressed up MANY times.

Take a cab....especially if you plan to order the wine flights as I did!!!

Definately a cab if you don't want to drive.

If you do drive, valet the car. Self parking is quite a hike at GF.
