Am I right in thinking my friend will need to buy a ticket for Tuesday 23rd October as her AP is a Fantasy AP?

Is it cheaper to buy on arrival? or before we leave?
Can we get her in before 10am as DD and I have Dream APs and Im in the SHC?

Headache :crazy2:

where are you staying? If she's onsite with you she doesn't need a park ticket for the 23rd October, her Fantasy AP and her hotel easypass ID will get her into the parks.

ah, then yes she will need a park ticket, and she won't have access to EMH that day either, sorry.

Ok we shall relax, have a sleep in, a late brekkie and maybe a swim! Its not the end of the world I suppose, just a little road bump.

Any idea on where we would be best to purchase her ticket?

Carrie_Cat is your best bet for ticket whereabouts, hopefully she'll catch this thread tomorrow :).

The Fantasy pass will give you 50% off a day ticket purchased at the gates on blackout dates.

You're unlikely to get better than that.

Excellent, that makes it €39 so thats not too bad! Another novice question... Can we buy her ticket at the side by Salon Mickey?

No you would need a ticket in advance as you require a valid park ticket to enter Salon Mickey.

Half price on a 1 day/2 park ticket atm is 37€. There will normally be a offer on tickets very soon (next couple of days) but I don't think you'll get much lower..maybe 35€.

The advantage would be that you could buy and print out her ticket in advance which would save queuing up on the day.

Will post offers as soon as they are live :thumbsup2

Thanks a mill Carrie, I think it would be so much handier to have it printed before we go. Will keep an eye on the boards :thumbsup2

Hi,

Just a question is your friends Fantasy AP a 20th anniversary edition or not ?

I've read tonight on DCP that the 20th AP's don't get 50% off tickets on restricted days anymore and it is infact no longer marked on the site or on the leaflet I've got here in front of me :confused3

Bonjour,

Hello,

I have a quick question, sorry if it has already been asked ... I have a PA Fantasy. My husband's family comes for Thanksgiving holiday and they want to go to Disney ... one day restriction ... I see the table on page 1 that there is 50% off the purchase of a place one day restriction. Is this advantage is still valid?? Because of my little pamphlet attached to my passport or the Disney site, it is not mentioned ... So, I do not want to find myself on the spot to pay one full rate with only 10% reduction

Indeed, this is not an error pamphlets and brochures, PA 20th anniversary no longer receive discounted tickets on the days of restrictions. They must pay a full fare ticket.

The non-PA 20th still have the right to this reduction until the end of their validity.

Which brings me to the next bit ;) The ticketnet flash sale isn't on your dates/tickets so the cheapest one you will have is a Francilien from the Fnac but it will be 45€ for 1 day/2 parks and you will have to buy it tonight as it's 5 days before

http://www.fnacspectacles.com/place...DISNEY---FRANCILIEN---1J---2-PARCS-MI259.htm#

You could get her a 20% off ticket at the gate but it still will be dearer at 59.20€

:goodvibes

Thanks Carrie. DLRP magic need to update their AP info page because it was their info re: 50% off park tickets with Fantasy that I was going on.

I purchased a one day/2P ticket for her from Fnac on Tuesday as luckily I had seen the 5 day in advance clause and my friend rathered pay €45 and not queue on the gate but it probably now is the cheapest we could have done it :)
I think ours are 20th APs but I must check.

Our plan is to use her ticket on Monday (date it was purchased for) as we wont be there in time for EMH. And get her AP done on the Tuesday(blockout) so we can get in for EMH. Is this doable?
I am so grateful you went to all the trouble to find this out and for letting me know. Thanks again xx

Is her AP already laminated (ie she's been through the AP office) or just the temporary one that you get from CEM etc ?

If it's the temporary one she can still afaik, but I'll go back and read that thread in case it's changed too :scared:, over ride the blackout day and enter the park from 8.00 am on and go and get her AP made out that day. It's the only time that you can over ride a blackout day :)

ETA - Sorry are you on site ? If not you can change your luck for the EMH but normally it's no :[

Its a temporary one from CEM. So is EMH a no go for Tuesday? Ive had loads of things go wrong in the last week but Ive been happy out because we're off to DLP but I think luck is conspiring against me now :/

I'd chance it tbh as I'm not finding anything changed on DCP but I've read a TR on TA where they went into EMH on the 3/10 with a temporary CEM AP

Worse case scenario is that they say no and you can always go and have coffee at EoS and then go round the shops at 9.00 and into the park at 9.30 when they open the gates to everybody :thumbsup2

I'm sure you are going to have a lovely time and if I'm over on Monday I'll look out for you all :goodvibes

RE -Entrance of restricted days

4) I would buy a PA or Fantasy Francilien the day of my visit, but it will be a day of restriction. This Will valid?
Yes, the Annual Passport is valid on the day of its establishment, even if it is a day of restriction.
Non contractual restrictions take effect from the day following the establishment of the final PA.
Attention, 2 days after the date of issue (or purchase locally) a PA Francilien final days are contractual restriction, even when staying in a Disney Hotel!

4b) Can we go to the parks with a PA Provisional even one day of restriction?
Yes, the Provisional Annual Pass is valid on the day of use, even if it is a day of restriction.
Non contractual restrictions take effect from the day following the establishment of the final PA.

Thanks a mill Carrie.
They are 20eme APs.

I hope they dont change the rules for changing them to permanent on blockout days as DS needs his to be changed on a Tuesday in January.
I didnt get to click on the links as my modems broken and despite promises I would have wifi by yesterday, I discovered they cancelled my order. Will have a look when Im home. :)

Thanks again for all your help and your message. Will keep an eye out for you on Monday :)

Here's the bit from the TA report

With the fantasy pass we got EMH and free parking. We had been on holiday elsewhere in France prior to our visit. So we got to the Disney area late on the Tuesday (2nd) intending to see if we could get in for EMH with our temporary pass the next morning. On arrival on the Wednesday morning we arrived at the car park booths explained we had temporary annual passes and we let into the car park no problems. By the time we parked up and got organised we probably reached the park by 8.45am. We showed our passes and suprisingly were let in for EMH.

Safe journey and you are looking at good weather "fingers crossed" at least Monday and Tuesday :goodvibes
