We're in St. George, the drive was easy and lovely, we've never driven to S CA ~ for future reference how far away is DLR/Anaheim from the St. George area? We might end up driving for our Thanksgiving DLR visit. I know I could do it ~ I drove from N UT to Seattle a couple years ago.

It takes us about five and a half hours from St. George to Anaheim. We're in Lehi and we typically drive to Vegas, spend the night and then drive to Anaheim the next morning. We can make it from Vegas to Anaheim in four hours. The trips when we haven't stayed in Vegas, it takes us around ten total to get to DL. Good luck with the rest of your drive!

I live in vegas it typically only takes us 4 hours to get there depeding on traffic. but mostly around 4 hours from here.

We've driven from SLC many times. Usually we stay in Vegas for the night on the way down and drive straight back on the way home. 6 hours to Vegas, 4 to DL. It's not a bad drive - rather boring since you're through desert a lot. We usually have several playlists on our ipods and a cooler full of snacks and drinks and some car games.

The one thing you want to avoid is driving from Vegas to LA on a Sunday night, or from LA to Vegas on a Friday night - worst traffic ever.

Yep, what they said! :) Except we tend to stay in Primm on the way down so we are a few minutes closer to DL. We do usually drive straight home though and it takes about 10 hours plus stopping for meals and such.

Edited: I guess I forgot about the time change or something?? we just went last week. we stayed over in St George on our way to/from Anaheim. it took us 6 hours both ways going the speed limit. (well, technically our drive there was over 7 hours, but there was an accident on the freeway that delayed us over an hour.) we used a Garmin and it also calculated 6 hours for our trip and was right on.
