UT ticket question

Leaving tomorrow and finally unsealed my UT tickets. I noticed there is a spot for a signature on the front of each ticket. Do we sign the ticket at the gate or before arriving? This signature on a ticket is new to me. Sunday will be my first day at Universal

We did, but my sister and her family didn't, and nobody seemed to care either way. (unless we just got a person who was clueless). I would.
