we really enjoyed our visit to the intrepid when we were in new york a few years back....all 4 of us enjoyed it: DH, DD, DS and me..

Kinda OT, but every street in my neighborhood is named after military vessels....Some street names are Intrepid, Scamp, Reeves, Sea Wolf, Truxton, Ranger, Vinson and my favorite...Bon Homme Richard. Tough one to spell out to the pizza guy! Because of my neighborhood, it has kind of sparked an interest in the history behind these vessels. Pretty cool....


I am remembering today (and everyday) my cousin, Master Sergeant Joseph J Andres, US Army. Killed in combat December 24, 2005 in Baquba, Iraq. A huge thanks to all veterans, those currently serving and the families that serve alongside them.
