Using WDW ticket @ GCH entrance?

We will be staying at the GCH this June. From searching these threads, I seem to have the whole redeeming a WDW ticket at DL process figured out but I still have one big question.
I know that one of the major perks of staying at the GCH is the early entrance into DCA via the hotels back entrance, which would allow me to get FP for WOC first thing in the morning.
So.....will I be able to take advantage of this early entry thru the GCH entrance or I am going to have to wait until the main entrance opens later and go thru the redeeming process there?

First off if you get really worried about this. DL opens earlier than DCA so you could probably visit there first to get your ticket for the day.


I'm not sure you will have a problem at the GCH entrance. Worst case at the main entrance is the CM needs to call over a more knowledgable CM. At the GCH entrance there are only a few turnstyles. So it might be harder to find a CM who can do it, which could take longer.

I think you will need to go to the main turnstiles to do this. I'm not sure the GCH CM's can do it. From what I know you have to have a supervisor make the change for you. Now, I don't know for sure but I think that's the case. You should call DLR to double check.
