I'm planning on visiting DL soon, and I currently have several theme park visits left on a Magic Your Way ticket from WDW. I've read (on other sites) responses to the question - can I use my WDW park ticket at DL - and no one seems to have a definitive answer. I haven't seen the Q&A on DIS...

$80 - $100 depending on whether I get a park hopper at DL is a bit steep for one day, so I'm hoping I can use my WDW ticket... Does anyone here know? Thanks in advance!

Yes, you can use your DW tickets at DLR. You take them directly to the turnstiles and the CM will deduct a day from your pass. It takes a couple of extra minutes, but no biggie.

It works just as Kayla's Mom describes. I've done it and it's very easy. Just remember that if you are trading in a non-park hopper option ticket, you will only get a one park ticket in return. If you are trading in a park hopper WDW ticket, you will get a park hopper in return.

Have fun!

Great, thanks so much for confirming! It's just been difficult to get a straight answer, and I didn't want to get my hopes up and then have to face buying a new ticket.

Thanks! I do have a park hopper ticket, so I'll get a park hopper at DL - then I can visit both DL and DCA if I've got the energy and time!

Also, please note that not all Walt Disney World Resort Tickets may be redeemed at the Disneyland Resort.

In particular, many tickets issued prior to the beginning of the Magic Your Way Program in 2005 are not redeemable.

The only way to know for sure if your ticket is redeemable is to present it at a Disneyland Resort Theme Park Turnstyle. They'll determine if the ticket is valid for entry.
