Using Walmart Gift Card for DGC

Hi all, we received $150 walmart gift card for Christmas, I forgot it was on my account and went to place an order and saw it was trying to use the GC. Decided to try and experiment and load a $25 DGC in the cart instead and sure enough, it is allowing me to use the WGC. I've had Walmart cancel digital gift cards in the past thinking its fraudulent activity, should I go for it and opt for a physical GC? Anyone have any experience with this?
