I'd also download and set up LYFT, we had problems with UBER and ended up using LYFT, all the drivers we used worked for both. We ended up just using LYFT as the fares were slightly cheaper than UBER.

What's the verdict on whether you should download the app here or wait til you're in florida? Can you still get the US offers eg $22 off your first ride if you download the app in the UK?

You can download in advance, I think my voucher for use in the UK lasted nearly a year. Maybe sign up with one email address to see how long the latest deal lasts, you can always use another email address later.

Obviously, it also depends how far you are travelling. Beach Club to the Contempory for example was less than $10

Question as I'm planning for my January trip and trying to save money as much as possible.

Could I use multiple email addresses to get the same discounts over for both uber and lynx? I can see myself getting some good sicounts of both me and my partner to that on our phones ?
