Using TS for CS at Pepper Market?

I have read that some folks on DDP have been able to use TS credits at CS locations--esp in their resort food court. I am specifically wondering if anyone on here has had success doing this at the Pepper Market at CSR? Because PM is not owned by Disney, I don't know if it can be lumped into the same "resort CS food" category that others have seen success in using credits this way.

This will be our first trip using DDP and it is also during "free dining." I have my TS ADRs made but in general, we do not like to be so tied down and usually prefer to do only 3 or so sit down meals. I am hoping Pepper Market will take TS credits for a CS meal if we decide to cancel a few ADRs.

Anyone?

I can't speak to this exact issue but historically PM is fairly strict on the enforcement of the plan and they are also very variable in enforcement. Sometimes they'd let you get a smoothie as a drink but most of the time not. They also used to limit your dessert choice to the level with cookies and nothing else but that hasn't been the case the last 2 times we've been there. I'd call them and speak to a manager and ask. If you get an affirmative, keep their information and the specifics of your call. Even then, don't be surprised if the answer changes. I'm sure you can find lots of friends to help you use up extra TS credits.

Hhmmm...interesting. I had already heard of their "lack of consistency" regarding the tipping(service fee) issue with DDP so I guess this may be an issue accross the board so to speak. I will be speaking with a chef on our visits due to my DDs food allergies so I may take that opportunity to liason to a food manager regarding meal credits if needed. I figure if nothing else, we can always do extra meals at Maya Grill since it is right there but we just prefer not to spend the extra time doing a TS every day.

Thanks for you reply:goodvibes

Pepper Market is not operated by Disney. The third party restaurants tend to be more strict about the dining plan. There also wouldn't be any guarantee that one person you ask at PM might say yes, and another might say no.
