Using Touring Plans for a November trip...several questions

How accurate is TP as far as what attractions and shows will be available in November?

The parks close at 8pm Mon-Thurs in November but TP lists PTN showtimes as 8:50 and 11pm. How does that work?

Same thing for WOC...the park closes at 8pm but the WOC show starts at 8:15?? Is that correct?

TP doesn't give an option to add the Anna and Elsa Royal Welcome. Will that not be available in November? What are the wait times for this?

No option to add Olaf, Merida, Captain America, or Thor either. Are they no longer available?

Don't you need a FP for the Frozen Sing along? TP doesn't have an option to add a FP for this.

Unfortunately, very little is known right now about how Paint the Night will be handled in November. It's possible that it could be reduced to a once-per-night schedule instead of twice. It's possible it could be reduced to weekends only. Or, perhaps the November hours may be extended a bit. Disneyland won't update its calendar until about 6 weeks out from the dates you're interested in, so we won't know what this year's November hours will be or what will be happening (officially) for quite a while. We're all just guessing and speculating.

I'm sure that Anna and Elsa will still be greeting guests.

Hopefully some of the other folks here can help you with your other questions.

I don't know about Touring Plans specifically, but as mentioned, DLR doesn't post the operating calendar until about 6-weeks in advance. The entertainment and EMH/MM information is often not posted until closer to the 30-day mark. Refurbishment information is hit-or-miss.

In terms of WoC, they often show it after the park closes. So while the actual show times for November are not yet known, it seems reasonable that the show time might be about 15 minutes after closing. That being said, we don't yet know when closing will actually be, so take everything listed on a November calendar with a large grain of salt.

At this point, I would assume that A&E will still be meeting guests in November. I would imagine that they will continue to meet guests as long as Frozen remains popular. At this point, the A&E M&G is FP only (after they initially fill the queue), but no one knows if it will remain that way indefinably or until the demand/popularity dies down.

Olaf, Merida, Captain America, and Thor are currently meeting guests, but like all things, it could change by November. Olaf meets in DCA (he's another FP only character meet and greet). Merida often meets outside at Princess Fantasy Faire. Captain America and Thor meet guests in Tomorrowland across from Innoventions.

At this moment it's not clear if the Frozen Sing Along requires a FP or not. They were using the FP system, but there was one report recently indicating that they are no longer using the FP system for the show. It's not clear it that was just for that showtime or a more permanent change.

I would ask your questions again in October/November when the hours are better known and the summer season has ended. At this point, we can tell you what is happening in the parks currently, but things may change considerably (especially in terms of character meet & greets and FPs) in the next five months.
