So we have way too many of those tall soda cups from baseball games. My boys don't want to get rid of them (we did some) so have any ideas for using them creatively? I have pens and pencils in one, and rooting some plants in another. Help, please! :) TIA.

We use them for making blocks of ice for our boys' rubbermaid water coolers during summer football practices. You can only fill the cups about a quarter of the way or the expanding ice will split the plastic, but It gives us a solid 3-4 inch block of ice that doesn't melt as fast as ice cubes do in 90 degree heat. Once the water is frozen, I run a little hot water over the cup and the block of ice pops right out.

Not baseball cups here but we have plenty of souvenir cups. We have some in the bathtub for pouring water and playing. Some in the pool and more in the sandbox. When I had a bunch that matched I used them as planters (Poke holes in the bottom so water can escape if you're keeping plants in there long term). Also use them for storage of small toys or other things.

When all else fails, they are recyclable.
