Using the pool on check out day?

Hi,
Can we use the pools at POR on check out day after 11AM? If so, is there a place to change clothes? This year we will have some extra time on check out day. I'm sure the kids would enjoy one last splash before waving goodbye to DisneyWorld. Thanks!

Yes! Every Disney resort I have stayed at has had a locker/restroom area for guests checking-in/out. The best I've seen was at AKL - showers (with towels and washclothes in a nice basket), hair dryers, and a nice vanity area. The room key let you in - even after you had checked-out.

We used the one at Dixie Landings when we stayed there. It was supposed to need a room key to get in, but it was either disabled or broken. It wasn't quite as deluxe as AKL, but it was enough.

Thanks for the info, diathoney. On previous trips (CBR and SOG) we haven't had enough time to enjoy the resorts. This trip (Feb '04) I'm planning a breakfast at AK and then time to swim and wander around POR on check out day. I hope the weather cooperates! Thanks again for the great info.
