Using snack credit as TS meal...?

We will be staying at the Contemporary Resort in September and have the DxDP so we will be eating at The Wave every morning for breakfast. We are big eaters so the DxDP works well for our family.
My husband and son love breakfast and like to eat a full TS breakfast every morning. Some days I order a full breakfast, but other days I'm just not that hungry and would prefer something small like a muffin or bagel, but I always end up ordering a meal because of the dining plan.

My question is, if I just want to order a bagel for breakfast, can I use a Snack credit? Or will I be charged a TS credit because I'm in a TS restaurant and DH and DS will be using TS credits?
In the past I've always just ordered a full meal so I'm not sure how or if this will work.

I don't think there is any way to use snack credits at a TS restaurant. You might could do a continental type breakfast with bagel, fruit, drink and use a TS credit. It's not the best value, but if you want to eat with them and eat your way, you may have no other choice.

You cannot use snack credits at a TS restaurant. If you just want just a muffin or bagel you would be better off paying OOP for it.

Breakfast at a TS restaurant where you order from a menu is rarely a good use of a dining credit even when ordering a full breakfast since you only get an entree and standard beverage. With the DxDDP most people will use their credits anyway because you get 3 per night. It definitely isn't worth it if you only want a muffin and a beverage. The cost of the adult DxDDP is approximately $105 per night. If you subtract $8 as the value of the 2 snacks, that leaves $97 so each dining credit is worth approximately $32.

You can use a snack credit at the Contempo Cafe (the CS at the Contemporary) for the muffin or bagel.

I guess if I'm not particularly hungry one morning, then I'll just swing by Contempo Cafe and grab something on my own.
