We are visiting WDW in mid October, and DLR early November. Am I able to use the same photopass card, then buy the CD of both the WDW and DLR photos at DLR? I did email photopass, but the response did not answer my question. We will be visiting both parks within the 30 day time frame so the photopass will not have expired.

Yeah, I think you can use the same photopass, just keep in mind they'll charge you the WDW price (like 129? is it?)

I have read posts stating, add your WDW first and your DL LAST to your account and you will get the DL price for photopass.
Sorry I dont know the price, but I know it is significantly less expensive than WDW.

I've heard of others doing this. Plus, even if you had to pay the WDW price for the whole thing, that's cheaper than paying for your WDW and DLR ones seperately. In my mind, even if you have to pay the WDW price, you'll save $59! :thumbsup2 Then, if they only charge you the DLR price, you'll ave $129! What a deal!

The above posters are correct. What should happen is that when you enter your PP card numbers from both WDW and DLR (I would get two separate cards - one for WDW and one for DLR; I wouldn't put all the photos on the same card, but they can go into the same PP account eventually; you can put them on the same card, I think, but I just wouldn't), the PP system will recognize which photos were taken last in the bunch (which will be DLR), and charge you the DLR price of $59.95 plus $7.00 shipping (for U.S. orders; not sure about international). No need to pre-order a CD. Just enter your card numbers on the PP site when you get home and edit/enhance your pictures and pay them. You can literally get hundreds and hundreds of pictures onto one account, so the $66.95 is a great deal!!:thumbsup2

If, for some reason, you were going to WDW after your DLR trip and entering those photos onto the same account with the DLR photos, you would be charged the WDW price of $129.95. In that case, for WDW pictures ONLY (with no DLR anywhere on the account), it makes sense to pre-order because you save $$.

Absolutely!

If you put them all onto the WDW card it's only going to recognize the WDW coding on that card ID number. Do WDW on the WDW card, then at DLR get a DLR card. :)

That is what I was thinking might happen but was not 100% sure. I would bet that some folks in the past - albeit, maybe not many- have gone to WDW and DLR with one card to try to 'keep all the pictures together' and then had to pay a higher WDW price.

Yup, Sherry is right. :goodvibes If you go to DLR last you will be charged the DLR price of $66.95 (inc. shipping). Last year I prepaid for my WDW PP CD ($99.95) but after we got home we went to DLR many times within the time frame (plus they extended it late last year to 60 days). I ended up with 2180 pictures after edits of which all but 150 were mine. (I organized a small (3) share group). Once I ordered my CD for $66.95 I then put through a request for a refund on my prepaid. Got my $99.95 back with no problem.

Last year the pictures on the site were put in order by upload date and therefore some people who might say go to DLR first and then WDW after-if they uploaded their DLR pix last they would get the DLR price. However, during the middle of my editting time the changed the website and all pictures are now organized by date taken. So, your DLR pictures must be the last ones taken to get the DLR pricing. Also if you are in a CD share group your pictures may be interspersed with the others in your group if you are there during overlapping times.

I ordered another CD for Dec/Jan/Feb and one other thing I did was I uploaded some of my own pix and editted them with the borders available on the site (not the same as the PP ones, just have a few). The 4x6 prints were only 19 cents and since I added them to my CD order there wasn't any additional shipping (though they came separately for different locations). The prints are a very nice quality and I think I'll do it again. Hope they get more frames/borders soon though.

Thanks for your replies. I knew you guys would know the answer. Good thing we are doing DLR last. With the way the aussie dollar is at the moment, every saving helps.
