Hello,

I am going to be using my DVC points to trade into Massanutten in July. I have never done this before so I thought I would find out if there is anything I should know beforehand...avoid headaches ;-) I know there is a fee and not the best use of my points but if it keeps my vacation savings where it is then I'm happy.

Unless you have the trade already or are looking at 2012, I wouldn't hold a lot of hope for July. You should know that most resorts charge an extra fee for exchanges less than a week and that once you say OK, your points are gone. You should also make sure you are comfortable with the resort. If you don't have the exchange already, wait list is the only reasonable approach.
